This website has been made to complement our website about the beautiful music of the kora instrument, which originated with the Mandinka people in Mali and the surrounding countries. You may visit the web site at URL: https://kora-music.130013.xyz
This simple website gives a pictorial view of beautiful Mali. Please go to the Gallery page to see the pictures. The sequence is generally from the north to the south and the east to the west. Position the image on the page to get the best view and make sure the image titles are visible at the bottom of the screen. If a mouse is used, putting the cursor on the page, or touching a touch screen will stop the image from changing. The arrows on either side allow going back or forward. The images do not display well on small mobile screens. We recommend a desktop, laptop or tablet to view the slides, but hope to improve the display on smaller screens.
A previous link to Radio Bamada went offline and we replaced it with Radio Caravane, which also appears to have gone offline. We checked available stations and have installed a new link for Radio Sabati, which delivers a stream of Malian music and singers in local languages. Click the button below to listen to it. An audio player button is also provided on the Gallery page: click and enjoy the ambience, while watching the pictures.
